Our Story

We’re an Italian family originally from the picturesque town of Legnago, in the province of Verona. Our culinary adventure first began with El Picinin da Legnago in Cómpeta —
(For the curious: in the Veronese dialect, it means “the little one from Legnago.”)

Our passion for authentic Italian cuisine soon brought us to Torrox Costa, where we launched Pizza Arena — a family-run pizzeria inspired by generations of Italian cooking tradition.

We’re thrilled to welcome you to our new seated restaurant, located right on the main street of Torrox Costa, next to the Laguna Beach Hotel.

Whether you want to enjoy a freshly made pizza at our cozy tables, pick up your order, or have it delivered to your home, Pizza Arena is here to bring a taste of Italy to your day — with homemade pizzas, pastas, and desserts made with love and the finest ingredients.

La mejor pizza de Torrox. Comida deliciosa y un trato espectacular. Te teletransportas a Italia con sus deliciosas pizzas a la vez que disfrutas de la costa del sol . We ordered delivery and it took very little time despite the bad weather and everything arrived in excellent condition. Very friendly attention. They made the pizza in halves to our liking and it was delicious. Reference site in the area to order from now on.

We had the best pizza we have had in years. We are Italian and very fussy. The base was crispy throughout, good quality ingredients from Italy. The menu del día with starter, main course and drink for €10 was amazing value. It is a simple no grills place. An authentic family business that deserves to do well. Highly recommended.

Really great pizza. Fresh ingredients. Nice "cozy" , family friendly atmosphere. Books and toys for the kids. They opened a bit later (crazy Dutch who eat early), but the wait was worth it.

For me it is really the best pizzeria in Torrox Costa. Made in an artisanal way, every day, fresh dough, with great care and care by the master pizza maker. They are a really lovely family, they offer excellent service! We also tried the desserts, the tiramisu is my favorite! Also for wine lovers, they have a good selection of Italian wines! We really recommend this authentic pizzeria! The best places are obviously not on the first line, you have to look for them, they are hidden gems!

When you eat you feel like you are in Italy itself with pure and authentic flavors, made by Italians, nothing like eating Italian food made by Italians.Both the food and the customer service are exceptional, they make you feel in a family atmosphere, like at home.It is delicious even cold for a country day.I recommend it one hundred percent.

As a food loving family we are always on the hunt for the best restaurants, and have had the pleasure of dining at many Italian restaurants throughout the years, but El Picinin da Legnago in the white Spanish village of Competa is truly a hidden gem. Nestled at the top of the village, this family-run restaurant boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere and serves up some of the best Italian cuisine around.

The first thing that caught our attention was the perfect pizza. The crust was crispy on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside, and topped with only the freshest Italian ingredients. Each bite was a burst of flavour, and we found ourselves savouring every last bite.

What really sets El Picinin da Legnago apart from other Italian restaurants is the fact that the entire family works together to make the dining experience exceptional. From the parents in the kitchen to the kids serving the food, it's clear that this is a labour of love for them. The passion they have for their craft shines through in every dish they serve.

And the best part? The prices are more than reasonable. You won't have to break the bank to enjoy a delicious meal here.

We are always on the lookout for hidden gems, and El Picinin da Legnago is one of the best I've come across in a long time. It's no wonder that our family enjoys coming here - we can't think of a better place to spend an evening enjoying good food, good company, and good prices.
