Our Story

Greetings from Gianluca, Samantha, and our three wonderful children! We’re an Italian family originally from the picturesque town of Legnago in the province of Verona. With such a rich heritage, we began our culinary odyssey with EL PICININ DA LEGNAGO in Cómpeta.

(For the intrigued: In the Veronese dialect, it means “the little one from Legnago”.)

Our passion led us to Torrox Costa, where we proudly present our Italian family pizza restaurant, Pizza Arena. Located a mere minute’s stroll from the inviting beach, Pizza Arena is where our heart, soul, and the age-old Italian love for food come alive in every pizza. We have a welcoming space, with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the ambiance and the sea’s gentle breeze.

Join us for breakfast between 9:30AM to 11:30AM, and for the main meals, our kitchen opens its doors from 12PM to 10:30PM, every day. Fancy a pizza on the beach? Or maybe some delightful Italian pasta? Choose from walk-ins, take away, delivery, or order online to savor our authentic Italian offerings.

Nestled at the top of the village, this family-run restaurant boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere and serves up some of the best Italian cuisine around.The first thing that caught our attention was the perfect pizza. The crust was crispy on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside, and topped with only the freshest Italian ingredients. Each bite was a burst of flavour, and we found ourselves savouring every last bite.What really sets El Picinin da Legnago apart from other Italian restaurants is the fact that the entire family works together to make the dining experience exceptional. From the parents in the kitchen to the kids serving the food, it's clear that this is a labour of love for them. The passion they have for their craft shines through in every dish they serve.And the best part? The prices are more than reasonable.
